My birthday was yesterday on the 20th and since I had some incoming packages, I tried to pay the ransom for them to the customs office so that I’d get them home in the morning. ’cause it’s always nice to have packages to open, especially on your birthday. \u30fd(\u3000\uff65\u2200\uff65)\uff89 So I was stalking the tracking all evening on Tuesday to see if they’d sort the packages so that I could expect them on Wednesday morning. No updates. (\uff61\u2022\u0301\ufe3f\u2022\u0300\uff61) Went to sleep and woke up at 6:45, still no updates. ~( \u00b4\u2022\ufe35\u2022` )~ I didn’t go down to wait by the front door for the mailman because I wasn’t sure if they’d even try to deliver the packages, because they hadn’t even been sorted in Helsinki. The mailman can come anytime between 7:20 to 9:20 in the morning and it’s not all that fun standing there for nothing… especially since it was, like, -28\u00b0C. Nopenopenope. (\u00b4-\ufe4f-`\uff1b)<\/p>\n

Around 10 am I got pretty darn frustrated and complained to the postal service – and they tell me that the mailman HAD attempted to deliver the packages in the morning. And I’m like ???? \u03a3(\uff9f\uff9b\uff64\uff9f;) because the tracking hadn’t updated since the 18th for one package and since the 15th for the other. So, it turned out that the postal service’s online tracking wasn’t working YET again!! I don’t even know why I’m surprised anymore, nothing works with them these days. (\u30fc\u30fc;) They were all “we’re really sorry” but that didn’t really help… in the end the packages were at the PO around 2 pm, but I only got an update about it at 5 pm ’cause of the damn messed up online tracking, grrr! (*\uff40\u3078\u00b4*) Because it was really cold, I didn’t feel like walking and hopped in a bus… although, the bus was, like, 10 minutes late and I already froze while waiting for it and uggghh… I feel like my birthday is always the unluckiest day for me, I got a terrible papercut from one cardboard box later that evening, too. \u52d8\u5f01\u3057\u3066\u304f\u308c\u3048\u3047\u30fc\uff01\u30fd(\u25cb\u00b4\u0414\uff40)\uff89 Well, the positive side about that whole ordeal was that I was also able to pick up my Amiami order from December while I got the two EMS packages from the PO.<\/p>\n

But well, enough about that, and let’s see what was in the boxes! \u30fe(@\u00b0\u25bd\u00b0@)\u30ce The first photos are awful because it was dark and I only had artificial light at my disposal, sorry about that.<\/p>\n

On top is a package from Hobby Search, then the Amiami order and finally my Tata’s Paradise group order in the green plastic bag.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
Match Girl Chiika arrived from Hobby Search and the rest are from Amiami. I got that white bunny thinking it’s a plushie, but it’s some robotic plushie that wiggles when you talk to it AND it mimics what you say. (*\u2267\u25bd\u2266)\uff89\uff7c)) Oh my gosh, I amused myself way too much with it! \uff61\uff9f(T\u30eeT)\uff9f\uff61 Also, there’s my third baseball bby, Kominato Haruichi from Daiya no Ace~ \u2665<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
Chiika out of the box! ~\u30fe(\uff3e\u2207\uff3e) I undressed her pretty much right away ’cause I decided to keep only the hooded coat and basket.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
Didn’t photograph the stuff from Tata ’cause a GO, but I wanted to take a photo of the illustration on the box, lol! (\u15d2\u15dc\u15d5)\u055b\u0335\u0316 Removed my name and phone number, would rather not make that info public knowledge ahah… (-\u2200-`; )<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

 
I didn’t feel like taking that many photos since I didn’t have light, so I just redressed Chiika, who I’ve renamed Nanase, and styled her hair ready so that I could take some proper photos the next day.\u30fe(\uff61\uff65\u03c9\uff65\uff61) After receiving Little Princess Nina<\/a> with that awful hair, I was really worried for this Chiika… but thankfully her hair was okay! Phew~ ((\u00b4\u2200`;))<\/p>\n

I like Chiika’s promotional photos the most, they’re very beautiful! (\u00b4\u2200\uff40)\u2661 And this story was the easiest to translate so far, as well, haha~ (\u2661\u00b4\u8278`) Lots of love!!<\/p>\n

Match Girl<\/p>\n

A long, long time ago
\nin a town, was an adorable girl and a reputable caf\u00e9.<\/p>\n

The girl was very hard-working and helped her big sister in the caf\u00e9.<\/p>\n

One day,
\nThe girl went out in the cold wintery town to sell the caf\u00e9’s matches.<\/p>\n

The people who saw the girl’s smile got into a happy mood and everyone went to buy the matches.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Before she realised, the town had become quiet from the daily life
\nand nearby street lights were shining.<\/p>\n

Because the girl’s hands and body had become cold, she tried to warm up her body a bit by taking out matches one by one from her basket and she lit them.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Something mysterious happened.
\nWithin the light from the fire of the match, she could see her kind big sister and beloved little sister.<\/p>\n

When the fire went out, that image also soon disappeared<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The girl really wanted to see her beloved sisters, so she hurried home.<\/p>\n

When she returned home, her big sister made hot cocoa for her.<\/p>\n

Then it was time for the obligatory Chiika comparison. (\uffe3\u25bd\uffe3)\u30ce It seems to me like this new Match Girl Chiika’s eyes are wider and a bit bigger compared to my Majokko Chiika.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
And an obligatory photo of Nana with her younger sister, Momoka! I think they make good sisters~ (\u00b4\u2207\uff89\uff40*)\u30ce It’s fun how in the Match Girl story Chiika has an older sister and a younger sister – that’s exactly what I’ve planned for mine, hehe~ Mana is the eldest, then comes Nana and finally Momo.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
I paired the coat with Ookami-san Himeno’s dress and the combination looks so perfect! It’s almost as if the coat was made to go with it, hehe~ (\u4eba\u00b4\u03c9\uff40*)\u2661 She’s also got red socks to match the red bow on the earmuffs, although you can’t see it here.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Then I also took a photo of the Tenohira Kominato Haruichi made by Mega House… because Harucchi is cuuute! (\u2022\u203e\u2323\u203e\u2022)\u0648 \u0311\u0311\u2661 I already have Miyuki and Bakamura, I should finish editing their photos and publish their arrival, ahah…<\/p>\n

Harucchi!! So cute~ (\uff61\u2019\u25bd\u2019\uff61)\u2661 Luckily he’s a bit better in quality like Bakamura in comparison to Miyuki. He’s got really creepy-looking eyes under those bangs, though, ahah…<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

In terms of stuff that I got, it ended up being a nice birthday! (\uff89^\u30ee^)\uff89*:\u30fb\uff9f\u2727 I’m definitely very happy with little Nanase, she’s super endearing~ \u2665 I was already regretting buying her when I got worried about her hair and didn’t think that I’d like her when she arrives if her hair is a terrible mess… but thankfully everything was okay and I love her to bits! (*\u00b4 \u02d8 `*).\uff61oO ( \u2661 ) I already found a buyer for the rest of her outfit, too, so I’m a very happy camper now~<\/p>\n

Oh, and the kanji for Nana’s name is \u8679\u661f, the first kanji is for “rainbow” and the second for “star”. Her eyes were such an interesting colour that I couldn’t quite make out what exactly it is from the promo photos – I went between light violet and grayish light brown and yellowish light brown… so I think that this particular kanji suits her well. Aaand she’s got such a cheerful smile that it’s bright like starlight, so the second kanji is appropriate, too, lol!
