I took these photos of Megumi when I was visiting my parents in the countryside, as from their place it’s a shorter trip to Lahti, where Desucon Frostbite was held. Since I didn’t go to the con on Sunday the 17th, I thought that I’d snap a couple of photos of Megu-tan outside since she had this warm bunny hood cape and the newly bought mittens from Pihlajakoto<\/a>~ \u30fe(\uff20^\u25bd^\uff20)\uff89 <\/p>\n

It was -23\u00b0C out but it didn’t feel too cold… because I put on a lot of clothes – kitty thought I was going to take him outside and looked really worried, lol! (*\u2267\u25bd\u2266)\uff89\uff7c)) Photo proof: here<\/a>. He gave me the cuuutest look all “Don’t take me outside, please”. Silly baby~ (\u2661\u00b4\u8278`)<\/p>\n

But yeah, with the right kind of gear it’s not too bad going outside, although towards the end of the shoot my toes started feeling a bit cold, should’ve put thicker socks on. I was more worried about Megu-tan than myself, because I don’t have much experience photographing vinyl dolls outdoors – well last year I photographed Kotone in -20\u00b0C<\/a>, but neemos are a bit different from DDs ’cause their bodies are made of a solid, hard vinyl – while DDs have soft vinyl shells and that plastic skeleton inside. The skeleton worried me quite a bit so I didn’t dare to pose Megu much… which is why the photos ended up quite repetitive and dull. (*;\u00b4\u25a1`)\u309e <\/p>\n

I tried going out again on Monday to try and see if I could get a few more photos to add into the shoot. Although the temperature had only decreased a couple of degrees to -25\u00b0C – damn! \u03a3(\u309c\u30ed\u309c;) My fingers were frozen already by the time I’d gotten to my location – this little hill a bit further from the house and the yard… so yeah, I didn’t get that many photos taken. Especially since Megu-tan kept trying to fall over, and eventually she did manage to fall so that I couldn’t catch her and I had to call it a day ’cause my fingers felt like they were gonna fall off, even though I’d been wearing gloves 90% of the time, grr. (\u30fc\u30fc;) I do wonder why it felt so cold that day when I was totally fine the day before… took me a while to get my hands warm again. ((\u00b4\u2200`;))<\/p>\n

At least Megu-tan is cuuuute~ (\u4eba\u00b4\u03c9\uff40*)\u2661 I really need to get some proper winter boots for her, I felt bad for taking her out in summer shoes, ahah… but I only have black boots in SD-size and they didn’t match with her dress at all. \u30fe(\uff65\u03c9\uff65`\uff1b))\uff89 I’m still lacking in shoes for my 60cm+ girls… boots would help with Megu’s flimsy ankles, too, perhaps she’d have stood a bit better. ’cause yeah, on both days, she finished the shoot like this: <\/p>\n
