Okay, in the beginning of May I put in an order to C.Pworks<\/a> as I noticed that, in addition to the usual 22mm and 24mm size, they also offer 22mm eyes with smaller iris sizes and also smaller eyes in general. I have Dollfie Dream Sheryl Nome and Vocaloid Luka and Kaito who in my opinion benefit from a smaller iris size. I previously had a custom size pair made by Lizanna for my Sheryl, 22mm eye with a 18mm iris. So when I noticed that CPworks offered smaller sizes, I jumped at the chance! \u30fc( \u00b4 \u25bd ` )\uff89<\/p>\n

I ordered 4 pairs for myself, and also two pairs for my friend Yenna<\/a>, so a total of 6 pairs.
\nI made the order on the 2nd of May and the eyes shipped on the 15th of June. They estimate a production time between 2 weeks to 2 months, so considering I ordered 6 pairs, it was a reasonable wait. (*^\u25bd^*)<\/p>\n

I ordered the following eyes for my dolls:
\n– Type Q<\/strong> in 22mm size, in colour “no. 6”<\/em>
\n– Type A<\/strong> in 2mm size with 20mm iris, in colour “no. 10”<\/em>
\n– Type K<\/strong> in 2mm size with 20mm iris, in colour “1. Virgo”<\/em>
\n– Type J<\/strong> in 22mm size with 18mm iris, in colour “3. Chestnut”<\/em>

Didn’t take a photo of the box pre-opening since it was just a plain box with the shipping label covering it lol. (\u15d2\u15dc\u15d5)\u055b\u0335\u0316 The eyes were wrapped in lots of bubblewrap.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/p>\n

And here’s all the eyes! Seems like we got two extra pairs with our order, that’s super nice of them! ( \u0963\u2022\u0348\u0ae6\u2022\u0348 \u0963) \u2665<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

I realised that since the extra K pair was 22mm, I was able to do a comparison of 22mm eyes with normal pupil (pink) and 22mm eyes with 20mm pupil (blue).<\/figcaption><\/figure>

Here you can also see how my favourite Lizanna eyes have yellowed, which is why I’ve been buying eyes from various makers now as I’m picky about quality, iris style and colours, as well as sizes, haha. (\u15d2\u15dc\u15d5)\u055b\u0335\u0316<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Since Suiren didn’t have her face up ready, I decided to try her eyes in Rion to see how 18mm size iris would look. For this particular iris design, 18mm is a bit too small for his sculpt as he looks a bit starey to me… ( \u2686 _ \u2686 )<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

His own eyes, however, would work better with 18mm iris I think. Even though the iris is 20mm, it’s not much smaller than the iris in the Tenshi eyes he wore before. So I think I’ll need to order these with 18mm iris and then decide which looks better.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

I absolutely love the iris design and colour of the Derteufel666 eyes that Kanade has been wearing, but I feel like the iris could be a liiiittle bit smaller for them to look perfect. However, with these CPworks eyes, 20mm iris ended up looking a bit too small to my taste, as the iris design is very tall and narrow. It’s also a more cobalt blue than the lovely navy blue her Derteufel eyes are. ( \uff1b\u00b4\u0414\uff40)<\/figcaption><\/figure>

\nI almost forgot to post a photo of the eyes from the side, to see the dome:

CPworks definitely wins over Tenshi and Derteufel666 in the shape of the dome, it’s quite similar to Lizannas. I always felt like Lizanna eyes sat in the eyewells really nicely and reflected light really well. Luka definitely has kind of odd-shaped eyewells and the flatness of the Derteufel666 eyes doesn’t really work for her… but sadly I just didn’t end up liking this design or size for her after all.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/center>

\nAll in all, I’m very pleased with the CPworks eyes, the craftmanship is really nice. I still feel like Lizanna has the highest quality prints for the irises, but CPworks comes quite close, and the eyes are really nicely finished: no bubbles or odd edges. Derteufel666 and Tenshi eyes have some air bubbles and the edges aren’t always nicely finished, especially with Tenshi. What I also miss with Lizannas is that there were iris designs that were wider at the top and narrower at the bottom. CPworks seems to mostly have equally narrow\/wide designs that are quite tall as well. But yeah, CPworks is definitely a winner in quality compared to the other brands I’ve tried, and they get extra bonus points for having so many different sizes, too! (\uff89^\u30ee^)\uff89*:\u30fb\uff9f\u2727
