A Stroll in the Snow
I took these photos of Megumi when I was visiting my parents in the countryside, as from their place it’s a shorter trip to Lahti, where Desucon Frostbite was held. Since I didn’t go to the con on Sunday the 17th, I thought that I’d snap a couple of photos of Megu-tan outside since she had this warm bunny hood cape and the newly bought mittens from Pihlajakoto~ ヾ(＠^▽^＠)ﾉ
It was -23°C out but it didn’t feel too cold… because I put on a lot of clothes – kitty thought I was going to take him outside and looked really worried, lol! (*≧▽≦)ﾉｼ)) Photo proof: here. He gave me the cuuutest look all “Don’t take me outside, please”. Silly baby~ (♡´艸`)
But yeah, with the right kind of gear it’s not too bad going outside, although towards the end of the shoot my toes started feeling a bit cold, should’ve put thicker socks on. I was more worried about Megu-tan than myself, because I don’t have much experience photographing vinyl dolls outdoors – well last year I photographed Kotone in -20°C, but neemos are a bit different from DDs ’cause their bodies are made of a solid, hard vinyl – while DDs have soft vinyl shells and that plastic skeleton inside. The skeleton worried me quite a bit so I didn’t dare to pose Megu much… which is why the photos ended up quite repetitive and dull. (*;´□`)ゞ
I tried going out again on Monday to try and see if I could get a few more photos to add into the shoot. Although the temperature had only decreased a couple of degrees to -25°C – damn! Σ(゜ロ゜;) My fingers were frozen already by the time I’d gotten to my location – this little hill a bit further from the house and the yard… so yeah, I didn’t get that many photos taken. Especially since Megu-tan kept trying to fall over, and eventually she did manage to fall so that I couldn’t catch her and I had to call it a day ’cause my fingers felt like they were gonna fall off, even though I’d been wearing gloves 90% of the time, grr. (ーー;) I do wonder why it felt so cold that day when I was totally fine the day before… took me a while to get my hands warm again. ((´∀`;))
The first four photos are form Sunday, the remaining two from my second trip on Monday.
At least Megu-tan is cuuuute~ (人´ω｀*)♡ I really need to get some proper winter boots for her, I felt bad for taking her out in summer shoes, ahah… but I only have black boots in SD-size and they didn’t match with her dress at all. ヾ(･ω･`；))ﾉ I’m still lacking in shoes for my 60cm+ girls… boots would help with Megu’s flimsy ankles, too, perhaps she’d have stood a bit better. ’cause yeah, on both days, she finished the shoot like this:

Haha, sometimes we have to brave the elements to get pretty photos! XD While I’m taking photos, I don’t really even notice the cold most of the time, but the minute I stop I’m like “… oh darn my toes are freezing o__o;;” and I have to hurry back indoors, lol!

Ahah, eihän se kovin herkkua ole mönkiä ulkona lumessa, mutta kun lopputuloksena saa nättejä kuvia… ! XD Ehkä minussa on jotain masokistin vikaa, ahem…
Megu-tan kyllä tarvitsee saappaat tukemaan nilkkoja. u__u;; Etenkin tuolloin maanantaina ei meinannut tulla mistään mitään, kun piti jatkuvasti syöksyä nappaamaan tämä pyörtyilijä. :’D Noh, tulipahan tosiaan testattua että meikki kestää vaikka vähän kastuisikin. ^^;

Sulla täytyy kyllä olla cold resistance +30 kun oot lähteny uhmaamaan yli 20 asteen pakkasia vapaaehtosesti! Haha! XD Mä meinasin jäätyä jo pystyyn kun vein koiraa ulos…. Hrrrrr!!

Kiitos~ ^u^ Pupuhupun huolisin itsellenikin, mutta tulisi vaan harmillisen kalliiksi ostaa materiaalit… joten taidan vaan tyytyä vaatettamaan nukkeja söpösti. :’D Olisi kyllä varmasti lämmin tuommoinen…
Haha, nuorempana siedin huomattavasti enemmän kylmää, en koskaan pitänyt edes kaulahuivia syksyllä tai talvella. xD Mutta nykyään on pakko olla aina jotain kaulassa… kunnon vaatearsenaalissahan minä tuonne ulos aina lähden, tulee vähän sellainen michelin-ukko olo. XD Pitäisi joskus instaan kenties kuvata minun “sotavarustus”. :’D

Yhyy! Minäkin haluan mennä ulos kuvailemaan! Olin suunnitellut meneväni tänä viikonloppuna kuvailemaan Mikua talvivaatteissa, mutta minä mihinkään mene kun olen kuumeessa! DX ASDFGH!!! Noh, ehkä tässä vielä tilaisuus koittaa ennenkuin lumet sulaa.
Mutta tosi ihania kuvia sait ja miuna huvittaa nyt loputtomasti tuo “pyörtyilevä” Megu! :D Nyt en osaa enää ajatella että “nukke kaatuu”, vaan “nukke pyörtyy”! XD Mun Aototkin pyörtyilee tuolla vitriinissä tuon tuostakin kun niillä ei ole omia ständejä pitämässä niitä pystyssä.

Flunssa ja kuume kyllä iskee aina kun ei pitäisi. :C Minulla on nyt monta viikkoa nenä ollut tukkoinen, mutta en (vielä) ole kunnolla flunssaantunut. Täytyy nyt koputtaa puuta, etten pian ole ens viikolla kipeänä. :’D;;;
No siltä se vähän vaikutti, että pyörtyy kun yksi hetki on kaikki hyvin ja seisotaan söpösti paikallaan ja sit nilkat pettää alta ja meinataan sukeltaa hankeen. :’D Vielä sit kun se sinne hankeen tömähti, niin kaikki irtonainen puuterilumi oikein pöllähti päälle. u__u Unohtui ottaa standi mukaan että olisi ollut elämä hivenen helpompaa.
