Autumn ambiance

Been busy and kinda uninspired to do much with my dolls because the summer was really hot and come autumn, real life responsibilities ensued… but autumn is my favourite time of the year alongside winter and inspires me to take photos, so here are a couple of small shoots from the other week. (=^▽^=)

On the 10th I was lucky to have friends – Yenna, Turre and Petunia – be able to accompany me for photos, so we went to the university’s campus as there was this nice spot where me and Yenna took photos last year:

Apparently I never posted them anywhere else except for twitter because I was lazy and only managed to edit those two shots of Megu, ahah… But yeah, I had thought that I’d like to go there again this year – although when I checked the place in September, I noticed that they had done some landscaping at that particular spot and removed the lovely bushes from there, so it looked quite bare. (´Д｀υ) However, I thought that once the maples are all colourful, that should make up for it.

Unfortunately we were a bit late, so most of the leaves had already fallen. (´；Д；｀) I had Megu with me this year, too, but I never took her out of the bag and instead focused on my newest arrival, Azone Lil’ Fairy Neko no Te mo Karitai? Vel. I sold my first Lil’ Fairy Erunoe and Vel a while ago thinking that I don’t want to try Lil’ Fairies anymore because I was quite frustrated with the old Picco D body (my Purimyure Yousei Kyoukai Vel couldn’t even sit properly when she was wearing bloomers, let alone more clothes) BUT earlier this year I got to handle Petunia‘s Lil’ Fairies with the new type Picco D body and it’s such an improvement in terms of poseability (and it also has smaller hands which don’t bother me as much as the ones on the old bodies) so that crumbled my resistance a bit. (,,꒪꒫꒪,,) And when Azone released the teasers of Erunoe, Vel and Lipu from the Neko no Te mo Karitai? series, I was doomed. Kitty ears and waloli maid dresses? YES PLEASE! ♡ฅ(ᐤˊ꒳ฅˋᐤ♪) Well, originally I was going to be a responsible adult and only get one of them, buuuuut once I got Vel home, she was so cute that I went and got Erunoe from the Yahoo! Japan auctions and got Lipu when the pre-orders for her opened. Erunoe should be arriving tomorrow and Lipu has been paid and should be shipped soon, so… In a couple of week’s time I’ll have the trio completed.（*’∀’人）♥

… look, now I started rambling again. Here are the photos from our trip to the campus. I named this Vel “Iru” like my previous one, because I like the name.

 
The following weekend we also had an impromptu meet up at Teeleidi because I had walked past them that week while commuting around the campus, and had noticed that their garden was looking quite pretty as the trees still had leaves. And I had been craving for their wonderful tea and delicious treats anyway. ₍՞◌′ᵕ‵ू◌₎♡ Luckily Yenna and Turre were able to join me.

Unfortunately indoors we had to pick a darker spot instead of the lovely little corner room with lots of windows & natural light that we usually manage to take over, so I didn’t end up taking that many photos after all.╭(°A°`)╮We did venture to the garden after we’d enjoyed our tea but I got distracted from photographing Iru because I started photographing Yenna‘s still unnamed Cuarto’s dolls Nebo, whoops. And then I started looking for acorns to take home, ahem… （゜」∀」゜）

That’s probably it for this year’s autumn photos, sadly. The best time always passes so quickly! I wouldn’t mind if autumn lasted longer, I like it much better than summer… especially since in recent years the summer has become unbearably hot. _(」∠ ､ﾝ､)_ I’m one of those Finns who function better in cooler/cold weather, if the temporature climbs to +25°C and up, I can’t deal, lol!

I did manage two Dollfie Dream photoshoots in summer, but I haven’t finished editing those photos yet. ((´∀`;)) It was too hot to edit them back when I took them, and then always when enough time passes, I find it hard to force myself to go back to old photos… but I’ll try to get them up someday. (-∀-`; )
