This week is going to be full of new arrivals, ahah… sorry in advance! (･∀･；) I also still have a post to make about Tracon X and last Friday I visited The Night of the Cats in Korkeasaari Zoo so I have lots of animal photos from there as well. I do wonder when I’ll have the time to get everything organised in this blog, ahah. (;´∀｀)
But anyway, my Amiami August order was available for pick up on Friday at the local PO, but of course I couldn’t pick it up since I was in Helsinki. Sooo I had to wait until today when I returned back home in Jkl. This order contains my 2014 Racing Miku, finally! ヽ(；▽；)ノ I pre-ordered her in, like, last year’s November? She was originally supposed to be released in April but lo and behold – GSC had some delays (yet again). (ーー;) She’s well worth the wait, though, so pretty and detailed~ (｡’▽’｡)♡
I also got Otogi no Kuni Little Red Hood Koron in the same package, so I opened them both at the same time:
It never gets boring to open these packages!（ ´∀｀）Ehehee, the kitty maid outfit is on top~ (*ฅ́˘ฅ̀*) ♥I was surprised that Miku’s box was so small and compact… usually they pack figures in these hugeass boxes that have way too much empty space. Good going, GSC! ( •̀ᄇ• ́)ﻭ✧Decided to open Miku first because it’s been such a long wait for her! So pretty~! (/∇＼*)｡o○♡ I don’t even like Miku but this figure I fell head over heels for right away!The artwork that this figure is based on is GORGEOUS! I absolutely love it, it has to be my most favourite artwork of Miku ever! (｡♥‿♥｡)The box is really pretty~ I love all the different shades of blue and teal! ♥Not much stuff with her, but she’s so gorgeous that it doesn’t matter anyway! (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)On MFC a lot of people seemed to disapprove of this Miku because her expression is “too sexy”. While I, totally not a Miku fan, absolutely LOVE her because she looks more mature and sultry, lol! (*≧▽≦) I’d rather not chuck any money towards this Miku business ’cause there are way too many Mikus everywhere, but I HAD TO HAVE THIS FIGURE! Too beautiful~ (´ ▽｀).。ｏ♡I mean… JUST LOOK AT THAT GORGEOUS FACE!! o(≧∇≦o) ♥ ♥ ♥ I don’t understand how anyone can dislike this figure. But then again, I’m not a Miku fan so I probably don’t understand what a “true” Miku should be like. (・∧‐)ゞ I’ll be perfectly content with this sultry Miku, thanks!（⌒▽⌒ゞHnnghh, all those little details and lovely shading and the gorgeous, gorgeous gradient flowy hair! ヾ(*´∀｀*)ﾉ I’m such a sucker for figures in dynamic poses with flowy hair.So pretty from the back as well! That hair!!! (ﾉ´ヮ´)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧And then it’s time to take a look at little Koron! She’s my first Koron~ (●´∀｀●) I actually like the Ookami Koron better, but I also loved this Little Red Hood’s outfit and I prefer Koron with a smile, so I thought… I’ll just get them both, lol! (*≧▽≦)ﾉｼ))I really love the promo photos of these two Korons! ´͈ ᵕ `͈ ♡°◌̊ I’ll translate the story, like I did with Little Briar Rose Lien:
Red Riding Hood
A long, long time ago
In the forest was a small home, in which an adorable little girl lived
The girl always wore a red cape, so she was called “Red Riding Hood”

I’m such a huge fan of Sleep’s work (I stalk them on twitter) and I was thrilled when I found out that Sleep would be collaborating with Azone for these Korons! (｡’▽’｡)♡ I love every single piece of clothing~ They’re very cute and multifunctional, which is always a huge plus! ♥The brown dress has a zipper while the shirt and both skirts have velcro at the back that open all the way. The apron is attached with a snap, as usual.She’s so cute! (｡･ω･｡) Koron has such a happy smile~ ♥ We’re in disagreement about her name, though, I wanted to name her Kaho but she seems to have other ideas… (ーー;)Her hair was a bit of a disappointment… the curls are very flat and messy already. ~( ´•︵•` )~ I’ll have to see if I can fix that somehow…So cute, though! But what to do about her name, gahh… ! /(@ﾟﾍﾟ@)Of course I also wanted to try the kitty maid dress on someone and Ayana was nicely at hand, so… cuteness overload! (ﾉ≧∀≦)ﾉ ♥ This dress is so ridiculous, really, but it’s soooo cute!! (ᗒᗜᗕ)՛̵̖

And about little Koron… I planned to name her “Kaho” but she seems like she wants to be named “Koharu” instead. However, I already have Haruna so I don’t know if I want to have two Harus. And then there are Kotone and Kotori, so the beginning “Ko” is a bit monotonous in that sense. ｢(ﾟﾍﾟ) I wonder if I should compromise and name her Kohana… or if I’ll just keep Kaho since I have the kanji (佳芳 “beautiful, excellent” & “fragrant, perfume”) chosen already too. I’ll have to think about this and see if she could get used to Kaho after all.
She’s so photogenic! *___* ♥ She doesn’t seem to have any bad angles and looks beautiful no matter what direction you look at her from, haha!
I don’t really like Miku’s voice, although there’s one Append Sweet type song of hers that I find very cute: Rain*Sweet*Umbrella. But pretty much every other Miku song… not my cup of tea. ^^; All the official art of her doesn’t appeal to me, but many fan works that portray her looking more mature or cuter I love. This Racing 2014 version look of her is a good example of a beautiful Miku. :D Well, beautiful in my eyes…

I’m not much of a Miku fan myself but I really like the one you got. That expression is quite lovely, very confident. The character design from the outfit to the hair to the pose is just gorgeous with this version.
What do you think of Koron? I really debated over getting this version of her but I already had a Koron. She has such a lovely shade of eyes and that outfit, wow, intense. I love the design and all the bits and pieces.

Well, I think that if you like Koron a lot and especially this Little Red Riding Hood inspired outfit, then she’s worth it. But there’s a chance that her hair is really messy so perhaps if you’re not a big fan of Koron and really, really love her hair style in the promo photos, you may end up being a bit disappointed seeing the actual doll.
The way this Koron’s eyes are painted is a bit different to earlier Korons (probably because this is a special collaboration with a designer), there is less black on the top of the iris so she’s not exactly the same as other Korons… and her cheek blushing is also a bit different from the standard blushing, it’s more under her eyes than towards the sides of her cheeks.
But yeah, she’s a bit of a risk to get due to her hair – also, if you’re expecting a golden blond like in her promo photos, then this sandy blond colour can seem lame in comparison… for me, it was actually a good thing because I prefer muted sandy blond tones rather than bright golden/yellow blond tones… but yeah, it’s up to your personal preference whether you like it or not.
Her outfit is really amazing, though, I find nothing to complain about that! ♥ I do think that it was worth buying this doll for the outfit, haha. xD Even if I’m a bit sad that her hair needs work to look nice…
Aww, Kurumi is such a sweet name and suits her well! :3 I’m still not sure what to do about my Koron’s name, ahah… I want to eventually get the Ookami Koron as her sister and I know for sure that I want to name her “Sora”, so I’d like it if they had similar names. Hmm…
