This blog is so backlogged… although, I have been editing and re-sizing some older photos so that I can post them once I have the time & energy to write posts about them. (( ´∀`;)) So perhaps this weekend I’ll have an entry up with links to the backlogged posts. Or then next week. But soon, nevertheless.
I decided to make a post about the Amiami package that I got home this week’s Monday since it’s only a couple of days late – or otherwise it’ll get added on that list of backlogged entries to finish, ahah… (-∀-`; )
But yeah, this order was shipped already at the end of January but it took over a month for it to reach Finland. SAL packages seem to have gotten real slow lately… my brother said to me today that he finally got a SAL package that was sent six weeks ago. ∑(ﾟﾛﾟ〃) I sure hope this is a temporary thing and not permanent, 2-3 weeks was an okay wait… 5-6 weeks can get a bit painful, ahah. I was especially worried with this one ’cause it was the most expensive order that I’ve made with them in a while. (-∧-；)
But there’s lots to go through, so I’ll just move onto going through the contents of the order! ー( ´ ▽ ` )ﾉ
A biiiig box! Himenos were astounded at its size! (ﾉ*0*)ﾉEhee, smaller boxes inside the big box~ ヾ(＾∇＾)Everything out of the shipper! (≧∇≦)/ Kiss-shot from Kizumonogatari and Miyazono Kaori from Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso, both by Good Smile Company. Also, figma uniform version Kinomoto Sakura, some Picconeemo stuff from Azone and also Odin Sphere Leifthrasir game in Japanese for PS4 and pre-order bonuses.Close up of the game + extras. (｡’▽’｡)♡ The pre-order bonuses were an artbook and a little display-thingy of the main characters. Cute! (♡ >ω< ♡) I don’t have PS4 but my brother does, so I hope that one day I’ll get to borrow it to play this game. I’ve got the original game and PS2 borrowed from Yenna atm, I should finish that first…First I wanted to unbox Kiss-shot because I’ve been anticipating her for a long time!（*’∀’人）♥ She was originally supposed to be released in November 2015, but got delayed until January 2016 – probably because the Kizumonogatari movie was in theatres in Japan then. Her box is huuuuge! щ(゜ロ゜щ)I’m lazy about photographing the boxes, ahah…Had to snap a photo of the cool illustration on the side, though! I love, love, love it when there are illustrations on the boxes! (•‾⌣‾•)و ̑̑♡Out of the box~ Her katana might be a good size for Pureneemos, lol… I need to test this theory someday.（ ´∀｀）The base is so fancy! (●´□`)♡ Also, HUGE and I can’t fit her properly into my figure showcase because of it, urgh… I started assembling it all wrong, though, this bigger water… puddle-thingy isn’t supposed to be put on first.The first step was to disassemble Kiss-shot and attach this smaller water… puddle-thingy (behold my amazing terminology yes) onto her legs.Then you would put her legs onto the base, put the skirt on her and only after that lock that bigger piece into place – so her skirt is partly under that “water surface” – how freakin cool is that??? (((o(*ﾟ▽ﾟ*)o)))After that, all that was left to do was to plop her upper torso into place and put the katana into her hands. All assembled and ready to be displayed! (☆▽☆)Lifted her up onto the showcase to get a better view so that I wouldn’t have to crawl on the floor, lol… and, well, the light was better too. This figure was pretty pricy but she’s oh so worth it! I loooove her, no regrets at all! (人´ω｀*)♡Her face is super pretty and the paintjob is amazing all around. Love, love, love! (๑♡⌓♡๑) ♥ ♥ ♥ GSC makes some badass figures, I totally love the Mikasa I got from them too.Next up is my darling Kaori~ ₍՞◌′ᵕ‵ू◌₎♡ I really love her character, so I had to order this figure of her as soon as it was available. Her box is suuuper pretty! ♥ I totally love that those “windows” on her box are violin-shaped, because she plays the violin.Here you can see a bit of the violin shape at the back, too~ ♥This box had a lovely illustration as well~ Pretty, pretty darling Kaori!! (*´ ˘ `*).｡oO ( ♡ )Next I planned to open the box to see the figure itself, but got distracted by the symbols on the lid. These symbolise all the meaningful places and things for Kaori’s character in the story. Such a lovely detail! (人*´∀｀)+ﾟ:｡*ﾟ+More super cute details! The little black kitty that’s seen throught the series~ (੭ु ›ω‹ )੭ु⁾⁾♡And even MORE lovely details! ♥ This almost had me in tears. ヽ(；▽；)ノ The box is on point, GSC did an awesome job with it, no doubt! ( •̀ᄇ• ́)ﻭ✧And here’s lovely Kaori herself~ ´͈ ᵕ `͈ ♡°◌̊ It’s a simple but a beautiful figure. I love her character so I’m not picky, even if I usually tend to go for more dynamic figures. Aniplex is apparently making a figure of her playing the violin, so I’ll try to get that one as well if I can~ ♥She’s very lovely as well~ ♥ I do love GSC’s paintjobs, they’re always really soft and flawless. They captured her “Don’t forget me” expression really well. (๑•̥̥̥́ω•̀ू๑) ♥Fullbody on top of the showcase. She leans more than I expected, but she’s lovely nevertheless! I can’t wait to take photos of her under the apple blossoms once spring comes!!（人´∀`*）♥One more to go! “ヽ(´▽｀)ノ” I got the magical girl Sakura figma last year, so I couldn’t resist getting this school uniform version either. I reasoned that it’s more like buying additional faceplates and an extra outfit for my existing Sakura, rather than buying a completely new figure. A totally legit reason to buy her, yes. ヾ(･ω･`；))ﾉSo cuuute! ヾ(@^▽^@)ノ Finally I’ll get to use the figma classroom and school route sets that I snagged from a bargain sale ages ago.Oh my gosh that silly faceplate– (*≧▽≦)ﾉｼ)) it was killing me in photos before and now it’s killing me even more in person lol!Switched the headback with the beret on Sakura right away. Because berets on cute girls are.. well, cute! ヾ(๑ㆁᗜㆁ๑)ﾉ”Had to try on that silly face, because… I mean, look at it! (੭ु´͈ ᐜ `͈)੭ु⁾⁾ Sakura feels distressed upon seeing severed limbs. ( ´△｀)More confusion ensued… two of Kero and two of Sakura? 〈(゜。゜)Both Keros, lol. The new Kero is super happy and the earlier one just seems… dazed. (ᗒᗜᗕ)՛̵̖All of Sakura’s faces! The ones in the top row arrived with the magical girl version. She’s my most expressive figma now, ahah! (ﾉ*´▽)ﾉBoth Sakuras on top of the showcase. So cuuuuute! Love the Kaori and Sakura figures! I just started watching Your Lie in April last week. It’s a really good anime so far ^^ (Only on episode 5) It really hit a chord (no pun intended) in my heart, because I used to do piano competitions when I was younger ahaha.
