60cm+ sized dolls
I just got this huge urge to photograph these two for a change. The perfect couple. (´ ▽｀).。ｏ♡ Might be because I’ve been thinking about their future a bit and I have something planned for Null, probably… I have a ton of storylines for these two actually (cause I love them) but I have to decide carefully what to do with the actual storyline. x3
I have some outdoor photos coming at some point, but I just haven’t had the energy to re-size them for the web yet. I’ve been more interested in modding and painting my newest arrival: A Migidoll Vampire Ell head. Not yet sure how well it’ll work for this character, but it’s the best there is out there right now.
The eyes are Llyr’s old ones that he can keep until I find better ones, but everything else is borrowed, including the body that is completely the wrong colour (Kilbas’). I just had to put him on a body to see how he could look. I need to get him a wig that would suit him and horns and make some clothes, but I won’t know what size to make before I figure out what body I’ll get him and I have no idea when that’ll be.
He’s Nion’s father and Khepre’s brother-in-law, btw. He’s been mentioned in a few of my stories. But more about him when I start getting him stuff.
I’m so sorry some of these are a different colour (last ones most notably and the gif), but I went out at sunset and naturally the light kept fading. I would’ve edited them similar from the RAW images, but I accidentally rolled the mode dial on my camera at some point and thus didn’t get raw images of half of the photos. Sigh.
I randomly realized I apparently never posted this shoot here. So, now I’m posting it pretty much exactly 5 months late (midsummer) but setting the date on the day I took these photos. Just a sliiiigtly late post, but I do love the colours in these photos a lot. Perfectly wintery.
I took Seere out the other day because the weather seemed nice. However, it got cloudy and started snowing as soon as I got outside, so I will be re-doing this shoot, and I’ll have someone else with her too. I also have plans for a wintery Sigrun shoot. I’ll be doing both once the weather gets cold again and we get some new snow. Right now all the snow has fallen off the trees and the snow is full of holes and stuff that’s fallen off the trees.
I hope to be able to re-do this soon. x3
More late posts. This time it’s Sigrun out in the forest. I actually made my way to this curved tree, that I often keep eyeing (because I can see it from my other photo locations) but I’ve only gone to it once before. It’s hard to get to: there used to be a path but two trees have fallen down and blocked it effectively. I had to go around them and it’s not easy going that way -especially in summer when it’s swampy out there. And during winter it’s a bit dangerous because of the holes between all the rocks. But that day the tree just called to me, so I went there. I followed some animal tracks (raccoon dogs and rabbits probably) and got there somewhat easily. :3
I have some photos, I haven’t remembered to post here, so there are a few entries coming. The first is my Husky. I still haven’t decided a character for him. I had a vague outline, but then I bought a doll I wasn’t supposed to and I’m waiting for her to arrive before deciding what to do with this dude, because I think he has the potential of being in the story with the new girl.
Anyway, dull portraits, ahoy.

I was only supposed to take a few snowy portraits of her but I ended up snapping 140 shots. Obviously I thinned them down. Didn’t like any of the full photos either, so it ended up as a “few portraits” in the end.
I took some more of less random Sebille x Null photos today. I actually managed to go outside, but the weather wasn’t as nice as I’d hoped. I’ll re-do this eventually, probably because I’m not really happy with the photos. But it was so nice to be outside for a change that I just kept on going although I knew the photos weren’t coming out that well. I had a very dolliful weekend for a change, actually.
Next weekend I need to be working on doll related things for our local museum (I’m taking a few of my dolls there for a few months to be a part of an exhibition), so I might not have time to take photos for myself.
Okay, so so so sorry these are horrid flash photos. I had no other choice and then I had to quit before I was even done because my flash ran out of batteries. And though I used every battery I could get my hands on, I wasn’t able to get more than a few extra shots. But I got most of what I wanted covered, so I guess it’s okay. Still sorry about the horrid quality. I wasn’t able to give Yami the expressions she needed because there were no proper shadows to play with. Stupid weather. I shot this a few weeks ago but didn’t really have the energy to write it up before now.

The Spider’s Lair was surprisingly cozy and glamorous. It even smelled nice and flowery.
Somnion had been expecting something dark and dank.
Ohohoho, I was able to take my Siren to a lake this year afterall. The water was really cold but it was just too lovely and serene out there to not make use of the weather and location. I looove the effect from the foggy background and the mirror-surface of the lake (when I wasn’t making ripples on it myself).
I got her some leg fins and re-painted the arms since the last shoot I had with her. :3
This is so very out of character, because Sebille would NEVER be this close to Demyan willingly. He’s more of a random prop here, because otherwise this is in character for Sebille. At least in the past was because she was a model. I got her this Leeke wig because I had nobody else to get a blackberry colour for (not that you can see the colour well in these photos) and it kind of channeled her young self, so I had to style her accordingly.
I got Llyr an armguard in the mail today. I would’ve gotten it on Tuesday already if customs hadn’t snatched it and demanded a HUGE 7€ ransom for it and then stalled with it for forever. The irony is strong because I also got a DC package that would’ve been worth like 5 or more times that and they let that one get through. Anyway, Llyr also has new-ish horns and a new-ish top+hood+sleeves so I thought it was about time I took at least some photos of him. Nothing amazing though, because I wasn’t really all that inspired.

I’ve been trying to do this shoot for days now, but today was the first time I succeeded. I’ve been waking up in the crack of dawn and cycling to the lake to see if there’s fog. Today there was so I cycled right back, picked up Sigrun and went back. Only I was in such a hurry that I forgot my rubber boots and had to go into the lake barefoot. Oh well, let’s just hope I don’t catch a cold because I have things to do.
I love this Souldoll dress even more now that I noticed that it floats, instead of sinking.
